Raised in Los Angeles, Astrid Hernandez was drawn to photography’s celebration of community and its capability to be used to deepen connections. Most of her work embraces strong femininity and women empowerment. After working 4 years in the music industry as a marketer at record labels, Astrid moved to San Francisco and earned her Photography BFA from California College of the Arts. Astrid now works as an Administrative Support Specialist at a kid’s photography production company in the bay.
